The Poco F6 5G, which debuted in India on May 23, introduces Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC to the market, making it the first phone in the country to feature this advanced 4nm octa-core chipset. With an OLED display boasting 1.5K resolution and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, it promises impressive visuals and photography capabilities. Additionally, it packs a robust 5,000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. Notably, the design and internals of the Poco F6 5G closely mirror those of the China-exclusive Redmi Turbo 3.

The base variant of the Poco F6 5G, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at Rs. 29,999. Meanwhile, the 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB versions are available at Rs. 31,999 and Rs. 33,999, respectively. These models come in Black and Titanium color options and will be sold exclusively through Flipkart starting May 29.

The Poco F6 5G, supporting dual Nano SIM cards, operates on the HyperOS interface based on Android 14. Poco commits to providing three major Android updates and four years of security patches for the device. Its prominent feature is a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1,220×2,712 pixels), offering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a pixel density of 446 ppi. The display supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Widevine L1, boasting a peak brightness of 2,400 nits and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Under the hood, it houses an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM. The device sports a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor (1/1.9-inch) featuring optical image stabilization (OIS), electronic image stabilization (EIS), and an aperture of f/1.59. Additionally, it includes an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 20-megapixel OV20B front camera. Thermal management is facilitated by Poco’s Iceloop cooling technology.
Storage options go up to 512GB using UFS 4.0 technology. Connectivity features encompass 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/AGPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. Based on its specifications and design, the Poco F6 5G appears to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3 tailored for international markets. The Redmi Turbo 3 was recently introduced in China with an initial price of CNY 1,999, approximately Rs. 23,000.
